&lt;p&gt;Born March 21, 1921, killed in action October 1, 1943. Jacob Rosenstein was a Graduate of Air Forces Technical School and a staff sergeant.  He was sent overseas with the Fifth Air Force and shot down October 1, 1943.  He was survived by his parents, his brother Jerome, his sisters, Shirley, Doris, Judith &amp;amp; her twin sister, Sandra.&lt;br /&gt;

But we graduated at 16. My father had problems with the language. My grandmother was more educated then any of us. She went to boarding school - fluent in English and French.&amp;quot;&lt;br /&gt;
