Jessica is one of my favorite people ever, but she's in town as rarely as I am, so I don't get to see her often. Also, it's difficult to take photos of her without faces like this. She's quite pretty in real life, i promise :) She just graduated from college and is moving to Kentucky to join an amazing theatre company. I'm pretty sure she'll rock, because she's an incredible actress.

Oh, and she's the girl in my somewhat famous bathtub photo.

last night, something crazy happened. the core group of theatre friends with whom i went to high school were all in town, and we were all in town at the same time. This is very rare, let me tell you. Some of us still live in the area, but especially in the case of me, Jess, Debbie and Ashley, many of us are not often around -- and even more rarely in town all at the same time. It's been probably about 4 or 5 years since we've managed to do this. So what else is there to do but get together and drink? It was pretty awesome.

she was worried there would be rain. it was quickly apparent that wouldn't be an issue, but the wind was a little overwhelming at times.
