When you are waiting small birds and one of them arrive it's sometimes difficult to get a frame of the whole body. This picture was taken with no zoom.

Even at 12 meters this jay was bigger than I could frame with the compact camera attached to the scope, so I used a bit of zoom to make a portrait.

The real pleasure digiscoping with a compact camera is being able to zoom it to frame your image as you want. Sometimes the detail loss vs a reflex camera, and the extra noise, are wellcomed vs the extra focal range and the ability to reframe your picture.

Hello, I've just tried a used compact camera bought in ebay. With 7mpx instead of the 5mpx of my old DSC-W5, this one is noiser, I've to try using it only with 5mpx to see if the results get better.

We can only see them in migratory passing, when they stop over our area for feeding and getting a breather after crossing the Gibraltar's strait.

This picture was taken doing hide-car, a very efficient way for digiscoping.

I can't find the original pictures, so I upload the processed 800 pixels samples.

Blue tit, parus caerulus, herrerillo comun, digiscoped through a TV76 in Alhaurin el Grande, Malaga, Spain. Using camouflage net.

This picture is from a set of experiments dealing with a home made diaphragm for the scope, being able to reach a deep of focus not often seen with digiscoping.

This one was shoot with a diaphragm equivalent to a f13 stop, so you can reveal much detail of the bird in its whole body, not only in the area focused.

Best view in large format.

With those extension tubes you can focus from only 3.5 meters to a maximum of 20 meters. With only 1 extension tube, you can focus from 8-9 meters to infinity.

The adapter tube for many cameras could be directly screewed to the DEC-0037 adapter ring.
