Tried to download a video from tape onto the computer and got a set of moving lines instead of the Dublin tall ship parade Grrr! Played with the clips on Windows Live Moviemaker. The result is fun like a moving canvas. It reminds me of African textiles - perhaps Ashanti or maybe in this case a shanty?!

There's a new tea room for two weeks in Manchester!. The 3rd year art students at Manchester Metropolitan University are staging a 1930's style tea room in the Holden gallery to raise funds for their degree show. Tasty sandwiches, cakes and tea! Congratulations to them on their innovative event.

This image is a still from a piece of video that went wrong. I then tweaked it by solarising it and adjusting hue and saturation. The original clip was of light coming through curtains in my hotel room in Madrid. You would never have guessed it by looking, though!
