Early morning looking from the Chelsea side of the Thames towards the defunct iconic power station at Battersea. Unusually there was no wind or boats so the river was as flat as a millpond.

While away training for a couple of weeks I was desperate to take some shots of the local area. I had one decent afternoon and this was it. I'm standing on the East Molesly side of the Thames looking towards Hampton Court bridge and just behind that is Hampton Court.

Went on a photowalk along the Thames after work the other day with a friend from work. Started at Tower Bridge and meandered around until getting to the Millenium Bridge a few hours later. Had the obligatory run-in with a security guard regarding photo's and tripods. He couldn't get his head round the fact that people take photo's as a hobby!

A bit further into Wales from the waterfall in the last shot is the Red Kite feeding and rehabilitation Centre at Gigrin Farm, Rhayader. Every day at 2pm the kites appear in their hundreds for feeding. This is provided by the owners of the centre. It started in 1993 as a number of kites roosted in the area during the winter and were fed as and when the farmers had any spare meat. At a request from the RSPB the farm became an official feed centre. What started with a dozen being fed has now resulted in hundreds turning up each day. All the birds are native born rather than introductions as has happened in other areas and they can all be traced back to one female.

Waterfall with a very strange name in mid-Wales in the county of Radnorshire or Powys as it's now known as.Quite an amazing place and not too far to walk from the car park! A very enjoyable day was had with Nigel Jones and Pete 5d

Taken yesterday on one of my few days off, that's how it feels anyway! Popped down to Broadstairs and Ramsgate.This is a shot of the entrance to Ramsgate Harbour. As soon as I saw this it just shouted out "black and white"!
