Sorry been MIA for a long while. Been missing the foggy, wet forests of Washington lately so I revisited some photos from one of my trips to the Olympic Peninsula. This is Lake Crescent, beautiful place.

Too tired, I just couldn't make this edit work. The lighting is all wrong! haha But I was determined to finish editing it! I've been having withdrawals. And I don't have as many photos of my son <3 Special guy that he is!

My kids and I were a part of the St. Patrick's Parade here in Sedona.

These guys are the Arizona Rangers, founded in 1901.

If it weren't for the power lines and houses, you might actually think they were from back in the day!

STAR BOKEH!! I was testing my focus for my first attempt at sky trails, and holy cow! Star bokeh! I guess I'm glad I can't see anything through that tiny viewfinder in the middle of the pitch black night :P

I am VERY lucky to live where there is little light pollution, it's so amazing to see the stars! We can even see the Milky Way! Unreal. Sometime I will figure out to take a photo of that as well :)

Color or B&W? This was my first try at star trails! :)

BTW yes, that really is a red tree. I was really surprised to see the color come through so well. The initial photo was very light so the tree's color kind of tripped out when I adjusted the sky's brightness/contrast.
