Hotel Chevalier by Wes Anderson. My personal favourite

This is a 13 minute film set in a Paris hotel room, with Jason Schwartzman and Natalie Portman meeting, listening to an old Peter Sarsted song, undressing and looking out from the balcony. Nothing happens, but its very funny and touching nonetheless. Much more so than Ang Lee's two hours of love-making and betrayal in "Lust/ Caution", the winner of the Golden Lion this year.
