Taking the start of the combined track! Surprise, the guide said we could walk back to the start on the track, cool. It is 1 mile and ~400 ft. of vertical drop, a very easy walk. Just watch your head in places.

Combined track looking toward Lake Placid (look for ski jumps in center). Our tour guide said this is the only winter Olympics site where every venue is visible from every other one; from here you can see the ski jumping, town center (skating, etc.), and Mt. Whiteface (skiing).
