Two Leyland buses in the fleet of Delaine, Bourne, seentogether in Peterborough Bus Station. 109 is a Duple Dominant bodied Leyland Tiger formerly in the London Country fleet, whilst 102 is a former Greater Manchester PTE "standard" Leyland Atlantean.

YJX811Y is a Duple Dominant bodied Ford R1114 new to Brailsford,Dove Holes. when I caught up with it, in Blackpool, it was operating for Carsville, Manchester and named Shirley.

one of a batch of 10 Duple Dominant bodied AEC Reliances delivered to East Kent in 1973, HFN 34L later saw service with Accrington Coachways. I photographed the coach in Blackburn in 1987,where, contrary to any signs in the windscreen, it was working a service between here and Accrington, competing with Blackburn Transport's 46 service. The nat ex paper sticker in fact says via Intack!

This Duple Dominant II bodied Leyland leopard was new to PMT, in 1979, but by the time I caught it on camera had become a member of the Rossendale fleet in East Lancashire. We find the coach on Rawtenstall Bus Station operating service 473 to Edgeside. This vehicle remained with Rossendale long enought o be rebodied with an East lancs EL2000 body.

Ten of these Duple Dominant bodied leyland Tigers were delivered to the NBC in 1984, 9 0f them entering service with Midland red North as 1701-1709. we find Hotspur branded 1703 in Birmingham City centre heading for Telford. the tenth of these tigers was delivered to Ribble, as no 900.

This Duple Dominant bodied Bedford YRT was operating local services for Accrington Coachways in 1986. The vehicle is operating the Hyndburn Circular service, in competition with Ribble and Hyndburn,a route which has seen quite a bit of cpmpetition over the years.

YPL 78T was new to London Country as RB78, being a Duple Dominant bodied AEC Reliance, and had much the same history as sister RB58 in my previous posting, and photographed on the same occasion surrounded by further Grayway vehicles, in Blackpool.

This Duple Bodied Leyland Leopard started life as a National Express coach in 1980 but by the time this view had been taken, the coach was fitted with a wayfarer ticket machine and was operating local express services under Ribble's 'Timesaver' branding.
I cannot recall what service X33 was and cannot find any record of it in my notes and timetables, I am guessing it has some sort of link to the 703 which ran Blackburn - Gt Harwood then paralelles Blackburn transport's 701 through accrington and Haslingden to Manchester.

One of my favourite liveries is that carried by Burnley and pendle coaches, as seen on no.6 a Duple Dominant bodied Leyland Leopard. It was photographed on Blackburn Boulevard, although after 25 years I am still trying to work out why it is facing the wrong way!

This Leyland Leopard PSU3B/4 – Duple Dominant C53F was new to Braithwaite, Tebay as PJM 668L in 1972; later runing for Rennie, Dunfermline passing to Rooney, Hilltown, County Down 9/87 and given registration ABZ 5377, the coach was sold for scrap by 3/93.

Just arrived in Penny Street, on the Shadsworth Service, North Western's ex Ribble Bristol RESL No. 393, pulls in behind a Blackburn Transport vehicle, on the same service, also ex Ribble from the same batch as 393. The vehicle behind, XTF 814L, is also an ex Ribble vehicle in this case a Duple Dominant bodied Leopard of Accrington Coachways.
