I had to pull over and shoot this small herd of cows with white bands. There were about thirty or so of them and every last one had the white stripe around their center. And the one in the middle never stopped staring at me, apparently he was their guard. One of my contact's tells me they are Belted Galloway Cows.

This persimmon tree stopped me in my tracks. It's unusually large to say the least, but I also couldn't believe the amount of fruit still on it in January. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Went to shoot all the frost down by the creek. We get frost maybe 10 times a year. The sun had started to melt the frost, so I ended up with some bent grass and lots of dew. I hope everyone has a great day.

I went to Filoli last week to see how the gardens were in August. They are thriving. I took this shot in the "cutting garden", which is their garden dedicated to growing flowers for the arrangements in the house. Filoli is an historic site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, located in Woodside, California and I am extremely lucky to live relatively close to it.

I hope everyone is enjoying their Wednesday.
