I have Othosclerosis, means losing my hearing but some sounds are exagerated, something that Beethoven had.. It is sort of ruining my life a bit since I found out about it in 2004. I had a surgery on my left ear in 2006, which hears OK now but is oversensitive to sounds ( especially high ones, like children crying or shouting) and rather deaf on my right. Socialisng with more than one person at a time is difficult for me now, going to concerts, living in the city ... Oh, let the cat out of the bag and had a little moan, makes you feel better for a little while..
