Small independent "agents" collect recyclable materials from homes nearby and bring them to this outlet. For example, you can get roughly $0.10 USD for a pound of newspaper. That's why you don't see free newspaper in China.

One of the workers at the recycling plant smoking his pipe during a break. I think this would look much better on a large print as you can look really closely at the background and all the details on his body.

I have to say that I really like the bokeh on this Seagull TLR camera.

China itself is a huge recycling plant. You got toxic waste shipped over from those so called advanced countries all over the world, and then you also got waste generated within by the 1.3 billion citizens. I have been visiting a lot of these recycling depots near my home for quite a while. I have not decided how I am supposed to document the lives of those who work inside and the environment that surrounds them for hours each day. So far I have just made a few snapshots. I don't know if I want to grow this into a full size project.
