Update- She came to live with us four years ago as a tiny six weeks old kitten. Now she rules the roost. She had been dumped on the side of a road in Dublin and found by a kind person who brought her to the local vet. This was just at the time we were looking for a kitten. So we brought her home and rather foolishly let her loose in our kitchen where she promptly hid under the dishwasher and we couldn't get her out . Eventually we got help from the DSPCA. All is well now, though. She is happy and much loved in her new home.

It's another miserable day in Dublin, not helped by the fact that the Ulster Bank - three weeks after a computer glich fouled up the accounts of over half-a-million customers, one of them me - has still not finished sorting out the mess.
And the weather forecast says we are goiing to have another mainly wet day. Bah, humbug!!
