It was a hot and humid day. I was sweating my butt off while composing this shot. I'm not sure what that thing is in the water, but I thought it was interesting. It does appear to be a manhole cover or heavy lid.

This cove is adjacent to the Ihilani Resort on the west side of Oahu (Ko Olina). Just north of this place is the actual Paradise Cove Luau Village.
