Aantal jaar geleden al eens een foto van geplaatst, nu nog eentje van deze stoere Trabant. Dit is trouwens niet zomaar een Tsjechische Trabi, maar eentje met - jawel - een container op z'n dak. En sneeuw. Achter de reden waarom zou ik helaas nooit komen. Maar het is weer eens wat anders!

A few years ago I've posted already a photo from this cool Trabi, but here's another one. In the middle of Prague stood this Trabant sedan, what is called the Limousine, with a - yes, really! - a waste container on his roof. Still don't know why, but I guess I'll never know. But you don't see it everyday!

Hippe groene Oost-Duitse Trabant met schattige ronde koplampen die zich liever voordoet als een bus. Sommige onderdelen hangen weliswaar een beetje scheef, maar daar let niemand op. De ultieme stationwagen met genoeg laadruimte voor een Ikea-bezoekje. Hebben!

Cool and very green, this ultimate stationwagon from East-Germany. And he wants to be like a bus. Some parts are a bit loose and crooked, but nobody cares about that. With the enormous space in the back you don't have to worry after you've visit the Ikea. So cool.

Niks van de chaos gemerkt vandaag door dat kleine beetje sneeuw. Afgelopen december viel er toch zo'n 15-20 centimeter meer. Toch de langste ochtendspits ooit, meer dan duizend kilometer. Heel Nederland loopt weer vast alsof het voor het eerst sneeuwt. Ik hou wel van de sneeuw en de kou, vooral omdat je weer met je camera op pad kan gaan. Vanochtend even op de fiets naar de Zaanse Schans geweest (waar toch nog enkele Japanners/Chinezen/Italianen de sneeuw trotseerden). De Audi A4 stond er verder leuk voor in de besneeuwde Zaanse omgeving.

It was a complete chaos on the road this morning in Holland. I didn't notice, but it was the busiest morning on the highway. Ever. More than one thousand kilometers of traffic jam in our small country. I know, it sounds stupid because we had only a few inches of snow. As if it snowed for the first time. Crazy as always. But I like the snow. There is always something to photograph in the snow. Like this Audi A4 at the Zaanse Schans, a open air museum with typical Dutch houses and traditions.

Coole Chevy (nee, niet die witte) in hartje Boedapest. Een echte eyecatcher in Transformers-geel met een verbouwde grille en flinke velgen. Ook deze Camaro SS kwam weer uit Slowakije.

Really cool Chevy in the centre of Budapest. No, not that white one. Isn't it a eyecatcher? This Camaro SS from Slovakia in Transformers-yellow with a different front (soon more photos) and nice rims.

Klein, snel, gaaf, opvallend én Italiaans. Deze 500C is echt een bommetje. Aan beide kanten twee kleine uitlaten, maar zover ik weet geen speciale uitvoering verder.

It's a small, fast, cool and striking car, this little Italian. I don't think it's a special edition, even there were two exhausts on every side. But, I want this car!

Hoewel het ook heel goed een 2101, 2103 of 2107 kan zijn. Al die Lada-sedans lijken zo erg op elkaar dat ik er geen verschil in zie. Dus Lada-liefhebbers, meldt u. Ondertussen rijden deze oude Russische bakjes nog vrolijk rond alsof ze net uit de fabriek zijn komen rollen. Misschien is dat wel zo, misschien is dit wel het allernieuwste model. Toch respect voor deze Lada's!

Forgive me, but I really don't know what kind of Lada this is. It may be a 2101, 2103, 2105 or 2107 or something else, they all look the same. So Lada-lovers, place a comment if you know more. Meanwhile they drive around if they are brand new. Maybe they are. Those Russian sedans seems indestructible.

Update: Mijn excuses, het is zelfs helemaal geen Lada. Laat staan dat hij Russisch is. Een Warburg, zo lees ik in de reacties. Bedankt!
Update: This isn't a Lada at all! See the comments, it seems to be a Warburg. So he's not Russian too.

Prachtige verschijning op een grijze dag in Zaandam. Nu zonder de Dacia in beeld. De nieuwe Continental is er wat mij betreft zeker op vooruit gegaan.

Beautiful Bentley on a grey day in the city of Zaandam. This time without the great Dacia in the photo. I think the new Continental looks much better than the previous one.

Hoe meer modellen de DS-lijn krijgt, hoe chiquer ze lijken te worden. De DS5 is de nieuwste. Wat een plaatje is het! Misschien is de lucht iets té bewerkt, maar aan de andere kant vond ik dat ook wel goed passen bij de ruwe zee en de lijnen van de DS5. Ook de blauwe auto aan de rechterkant had ik liever niet op de foto gewild.

Dat is nog eens goed wakker worden: de stralende ochtendzon en een fantastisch V8-geluid uit deze F430 bij het optrekken. Komen de supercars weer langzaam naar buiten nu we de lente naderen?

Onze huurauto! Nog net wat leuker dan de Ka, maar ook iets langzamer en kleiner van binnen. Toch een stoere 500, die het halve eiland wel heeft gezien in twaalf dagen.
