Due to the excessive winter storms & abnormally heavy rainfall brought on by global warming, huge landslides have fallen into the unfiltered Lower Mainland water supply. Thus, 2 million people are on a "boil water alert" indefinitely. We normally make our coffee with tap water!

This is a Sefer Torah scroll which I'm currently checking & appraising for restoration. It's from the Holocaust. I can tell by the script that it was written in Eastern Europe by a Kabbalist. Pass your mouse over it & check out the note I left on the image.

It snowed last night, so I wrote the word אמת
"emet", truth in Hebrew, in the seat of my chesterfield out on the patio.
This may be Canada, but in this part of the country it almost never snows, & especially this early. After all the extreme Winter storms we had last week which has made it necessary to boil our drinking water & now the snow, this seemed to be an appropriate word to write. Global warming is here. This snow is witness to that.

Do the words "plan ahead" come to mind?
This was a gigantic cake for 3 different people - including a 1-year-old girl - to be eaten after a Shabbat dinner party. & I know there's a dispute about eating letters on Shabbat, so don't give me a hard time about it.

Devarim/Deuteronomy 18:13, "Tamim tihiyeh im H' Elohekha..." - "Be perfect with Ha-Shem your G@D...". The enlarged letter Taf (ת) here tells us that "perfect" here is interpreted to mean "completely focused", or "utterly sincere". It tells us of the incredible courage and perfection of character we must strive towards in order to fulfill our holy relationship with G@d & others, & represents the great love which G@d has for each of us.
