The Suzuki Hayabusa (or GSX1300R) is a sport bike motorcycle made by Suzuki since 1999. It immediately won acclaim as the world's fastest production motorcycle, with a top speed of 188 to 194 miles per hour (303 to 312 km/h).

Hayabusa (隼?) is Japanese for "peregrine falcon", a bird that often serves as a metaphor for speed due to its vertical hunting dive, or stoop, speed of 180 to 202 miles per hour (290 to 325 km/h), the fastest of any bird. In particular, the choice of name was made because the peregrine falcon preys on blackbirds, which reflected the intent of the original Hayabusa to unseat the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird as the world's fastest production motorcycle. Eventually, the Hayabusa managed to surpass the Super Blackbird by at least a full 10 miles per hour (16 km/h).

The Honda CBR600RR is a 599 cc (36.6 cu in) sport motorcycle that was introduced by Honda in 2003 as a race replica version of Honda's CBRFx series motorcycles. It won every Supersport World Championship title from 2002 to 2008.

The Ferrari 360 is a mid-engine midsize two-seater sports car produced from late 1999 until 2005. The 360 replaced the Ferrari F355 and was itself replaced by the fairly similar Ferrari F430. For the 360, Ferrari partnered with Alcoa to produce an entirely new all-aluminum space-frame chassis that was 40% stiffer than the 355, yet 28% lighter despite a 10% increase in overall dimensions. Along with the new frame was a new Pininfarina body styling that broke ranks with the last decade's sharp angles and flip-up headlights, replacing them with a rounded appearance that harkened to the 1960s. The new V8 engine, common to all versions, was only slightly larger and more powerful than the 355's at 3.6 litres and 400 bhp (300 kW) of power, but the lighter frame and added stiffness improved performance; the 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) acceleration performance improved from 4.6 to 4.4 seconds, and in the Challenge versions it was as low as 4.0 s.

The first model of the 360 to ship was the 360 Modena, named after the town of Modena, the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari. Its six-speed gearbox is available as a manual, or F1 electrohydraulic manual. The car went into production in 1999 and remained in production until 2005 when it was replaced by the F430.

The BMW S1000RR is a sport bike initially made by BMW Motorrad to compete in the 2009 Superbike World Championship, that is now in commercial production. It was introduced in Munich in April 2008, and is powered by a 999 cc (61.0 cu in) inline-4 engine redlined at 14,200 rpm.

BMW made 1,000 S1000RRs in 2009 to satisfy World Superbike homologation requirements, but expanded production for commercial sale of the bike in 2010. It has an anti-lock braking system, standard, with an optional electronic traction control. It has a wet weight of 207.7 kg (458 lb), and produces 133.6 kW (179.2 hp) @ 13,250 rpm at the rear wheel.

Before there was the McLaren F1, there was the Rocket. Established in 1992, The Light Car Company is the brainchild of race driver Chris Craft and F1 designer Gordon Murray, created solely to produce this brilliantly designed car. There are only about 48 Rockets in existence at last count, and each one is painstakingly built, with precious few components coming off the shelf.

Gordon and Murray wanted to create a car for pure driving pleasure, with a retro look on the outside and a modern race chassis underneath. The Rocket may look like a Formula Vee car from the 1960s, but it drives like the future.

There’s no cabin here, as Gordon designed the tube-frame chassis to carry two people sitting tandem for the ultimate behind-the-wheel experience. That is - if you can find a passenger who’s crazy enough to join you. Besides goggles and a waterproof jacket, you might want to tell your pal to put in some earplugs - this ride is LOUD!

When it went into production in 1992, the Rocket was the first road car with a motorcycle engine. The Yamaha 1000cc powerhouse is bolted to the back of the chassis, with transaxle mounted to the engine and double wishbone suspension mounted to the transaxle. But the true artistry of the car lies in its incredible power-to-weight ratio - lots of carbon fiber puts its weight at somewhere around 800 pounds.

At the time of its launch, the Rocket was one of the fastest accelerating cars in the world, and its low-weight ratio assured phenomenally agile handling. Those who have driven the car will tell you that there’s simply no other ride on the road like it.

The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R is a Kawasaki sport bike, and the follow-up to the ZX-9R. It was originally released in 2004 with minor revisions in 2005. It combines an ultra-narrow chassis, low weight, and radial brakes. In 2004 and 2005 the ZX-10R won Best Superbike from Cycle World magazine and the prestigious international Masterbike competition.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD), serves unincorporated parts of Los Angeles County, as well as 58 cities and towns that choose to have the county provide fire and EMS services, including La Habra. La Habra is in Orange County and is the first city outside of Los Angeles County to contract with LACoFD. It should not be confused with the Los Angeles City Fire Department, which serves the city of Los Angeles. The county fire department has its headquarters in the unincorporated portion of East Los Angeles.

LACoFD has 190+ Stations which house Engines, Quints, Trucks, Light Forces, Paramedic Squads, ESTs, Water Tenders, Patrols as well as Hazardous Materials Squads and USAR Units. LA County Fire Apparatus are painted reddish-orange as opposed to LA City Fire's being red.

Thousand Oaks is a city in southeastern Ventura County, California, in the United States. It was named after the many oak trees that grace the area, and the city seal is adorned with an oak.

The city forms the most populated part of a regional area called the Conejo Valley, which includes Thousand Oaks proper, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, and Oak Park. The Los Angeles County/Ventura County line crosses at the western city limits of Westlake Village. The population was 126,683 at the 2010 census, up from 117,005 at the 2000 census.

Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park were part of a master planned city, created by the Janss Investment Company in the mid-1950s. It included about 1,000 custom home lots, 2,000 single-family residences, a regional shopping center, 200-acre (0.81 km2) industrial park and several neighborhood shopping centers.

The median home price is around $673,000. It is located in the northwestern part of the Greater Los Angeles Area. The city was in 2006 named one of Money magazine's Best Places to Live.

Established in 1905, the Forest Service is an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The Forest Service manages public lands in national forests and grasslands.

Gifford Pinchot, the first Chief of the Forest Service, summed up the mission of the Forest Service— "to provide the greatest amount of good for the greatest amount of people in the long run."

National forests and grasslands encompass 193 million acres of land, which is an area equivalent to the size of Texas.

The Ventura County Fire Department is a special district, formed by special election in 1928. The Ventura County Board of Supervisors is the fire district's board of directors.
