"Scott Walker advocated for some of the most extreme anti-women’s health policies ever introduced. He wrote a bill that would allow pharmacists to deny women’s doctor-prescribed birth control. He sided with big insurance companies who refused to provide coverage of prescription birth control as well as maternity care, mammograms and cervical cancer screenings. Scott Walker received endorsement from Pro-Life Wisconsin by pledging to support legislation that would ban abortion in all cases, including for rape and incest victims."

I've been accepted to Interlochen Arts Academy for the 2010-2011 academic year. I am so elated, I can't stop grinning. My life has changed so much since my photography muse began. I used to dream of boarding schools, and going far away, and fresh starts, and finding something to stick to. Something I really love to do. There were girls who had been in dance their whole lives, kids who were the stars of their sports teams, kids who had been in gymnastics since they were five.. and I couldn't even commit to an entire soccer season.

And then came the camera. I honestly love it. I love the opportunities it has procured, and I love the process and routines that I have developed to take and process my pictures. I feel like I am finally in motion. I feel like I am headed someplace I want to go.

This has become a reality.

I am so, utterly excited for what is to come.
