This is the still unfinished Rabotoren in Utrecht, The Netherlands, nicknamed 'the binoculars' because of its shape. I've shot this tower before (see earlier work) and I think I'll shoot it many more times because it is so intriguing. A grand piece of architecture.

I took this during a shoot with Joel Tjintjelaar. Check out his mindblowing stream.

B+W ND110 filter, ISO 100, f/22, 20 second exposure. Photoshop CS4 and Silver Efex Pro. The first shot with my new 7D camera!

Daytime long exposure: 65 seconds. B+W ND110 filter.

I came home from work and all of the sudden the sun was shining and there was a gorgeous cloudy sky, so I got my camera and tripod and rushed out the door to take a stroll and take some long exposures...

Only to then find out that I forgot to bring my shutter release... So I shot this from the hand and held my breath for 65 seconds. And yes, I know this could have been a helluva lot sharper if I brought the shutter release. But I still kind of like it.
