Finally finished off the basic colors for the unit. Still need to trim the black on the unit and paint the underframe. The goal is to have this finished by the St. Louis proto meet. We'll see.

CCP bought this unit off of the ICG during its start up. Keith had abrasivised the Proto 2000 unit to wear off some of the original IC paint. This also helps paint to adhere to the many Delrin detail parts.

Keith reworked the radiator and air intake grills. On the Proto model they stand out a bit far. He removed the louver area behind the grill and then added Evergreen siding stock behind the open area. He then reinserted the grills and positioned them to sit more flush in the opening as the prototype did.

This will be a Paducah rebuild in solid orange, Keith replaced the original cab with a kit from Dan Kohlberg and Cannon & Co parts. The model started out as a Proto 2000 SW9.

Reworking the lightning stripes on a factory painted Stewart FT set. The stripes on the right are the factory stripe, while the stripes on the left are Microscale decals that were applied over the existing stripes.
