Have been out several more times to see the wild horses and met some new friends who love Marley and his ability as the horse whisper for them to "get better pictures" of the horses. There are many new little ones and the mares seem to be continually pregnant. Love is in the air.

There are groups that record and follow the herds. These horses all have been given names to identify them. I only know them as the wild ones. My assistant Marley has been requested a meetup by other photogs to get "better" pictures of them.

Out for a short walk this AM and discovered the blooms have begun on the Saguaro's. Usually they don't start appearing until May. A fun find..

Was thrilled to come across this fresh filly. She was so new she hadn't gotten her "sea legs" under her but knew where to fill her belly. How do they know????

One from a while back. The cold morning was breaking as the sun came up causing the mist on the Salt River. There was also snow on the far mountains this day. And now.... into the 90's.

The flowering cactus season has begun. This little beauty was at the beginning of the trail but we did continue on. Sometimes it's about the journey.. ;)

Weather was gorgeous, windy but perfect. First try at stacking and the wind didn't help. Desert turning it's beautiful shade of brown and all the wildflowers are too.

The area is alive with Brittlebush and not nearly enough poppies but guess we shouldn't complain. It'll all be brown soon enough.

I had never heard of the "walking trees" until recently. They are in the central to south Americas. Think this one got lost and made it to Arizona.

Took Marley out to enjoy the beautiful day and to see if we could run into the wild horses. We enjoyed just being out there that finding the horses was forgotten. He so loves the hikes and swimming in the river and is now passed out in the back yard.
Enjoy the day and Marley says "take time to play".
