It felt strange not taking a picture today, but I still feel compelled to post something.

I found this creepy IR portrait I took of my daughter and wanted to play with it a bit.

Day 366: Rural Snow

Well, it is not quite the splash I wanted to go out with on my 366 project, but I'll take it.

The 366 has been a great project for me, and I'm really happy to have completed it. I'm now looking forward to pursuing a number of other photography-realted projects in 2013. I'll probably post less freqently, but spend some time digging deeper into many areas that I didn't have time for in 2012.

A special thanks to Jo, Jeff, and Jen for always checking in on my work and providing a number of encouraging comments during the past year. I really appreciate it. Also, Indy Photo Coach for building a great community on Flickr.

This shot used a flash to freeze the main image with a long exposure to capture the movement of the mini horses on the base.

Just getting to upload yesterday's photo. Still haven't taken today's. This is a 3 image HDR. I was surprised, but the result was much better in Photoshop than in HDR Efex.
