I am so attached to the "Green Room" in the Nolan House, that I figured it was time for me to branch out, which wasn't easy. The light and colors in the green room are so amazing, but I found the light in one of the upstairs rooms to be just as interesting...just different.

If I know I am going to have a particularly harrowing day, I spend a little bit of extra time doing my makeup in the morning.

When I first became a makeup artist, I felt the need to go all out with my makeup when I was going to work. These days, though, I keep it pretty simple. I don't like to freak out my clients when I wear electric blue eyeshadow with hot pink eyeliner.

Today, I went a little crazy, but it's all good. It's like wearing warpaint...it gives me some sort of strange boost to my confidence.

If I had the time/means to travel the world, I would take a shot of myself jumping in front of all the great landmarks of the world.

I think the Great Wall would make for a particularly epic jump shot.

For now, it's withering cornfields.

Evan and I went to the Nolan House today. I always get so nervous when I go there because I am so afraid a) I will be asked to leave or b) it won't be there. Every time I round the corner, there is always a part of me that worries the house will be gone.

I am so attached to these green walls. They've become a part of me.

For everyone that has ever emailed me asking me about my process and I haven't gotten back to you, I'm sorry! :( I get a lot of emails asking me how I get a certain "look" in my photos, and I just can't respond to them all. It's such an open/general question, and it's really difficult to answer. I'm not being intentionally rude or aloof if I don't respond...I'm usually just stumped for an answer.

However, I am working on an interview with Digital Photography School where I will be talking about my process, gear, and will give you a breakdown on a few of my favorite shots. I will let you all know when it is finished and posted.

Hola, Flickr! Vacation is over, so now is the part where I bombard you with a mass upload of vacation 365's. Luckily, I posted two 365 shots while I was away, so that helps some, but still...I hate mass uploads.

Anyway, I am back to the real world of putting makeup on people, and photographing anyone who will ask me to do so.

Wait, that isn't the "real world" is it?

I'm refreshed, and ready to get back to work, though!!!!

In other news, my numbering is SO screwed up as to what day I am on, so don't judge me.

I still measure my progress in 100 day intervals...just as I did in year one.

This time, I feel like I am growing even more than I did in my first go-round of Project 365.

Year two is going SO much faster, though, and it is so much more *fun*.

Uh...so...I've misnumbered by 365 shot yet again. I have to go back through and see where I screwed up - today is either 91 or 92. Who knows.
