Had a trip around the moor for a few hours yesterday lunch time . I know........ not the best time with the harsh midday light . It was the sky and clouds that drew me that way . So took one or two all the same . I must get up there soon during that magical golden hour !!

I have just learned today that this wonderful fellow sadly passed away at the beginning of February .
Solomon was 18 years old and died of kidney failure at the Dartmoor Zoological Park . He had lived there since he was 3 . The keepers told us his roar you could hear up to 5 miles away . Im going to miss this old guy ..... Wonderful to see and be just 3 ft away from , and privelege to photograph !!
RIP Solomon .
