I took a weekend trip to New Hampshire a few weekends ago with some friends from college. This photo was taken with my Yashica FX-2, with Ilford Delta 400 film. More images from my trip are here, if you'd like to take a look (and see the work of lots of other great film photographers).

I've had computer troubles for the past week or two, but all seems to be resolved now, thankfully. Hope to be back here more regularly.

I hope all my east coast friends stayed safe during Sandy. I fared just fine, and thankfully still have water and electricity. AND, today is my birthday. So I'm not going to let the hurricane stop me from celebrating. :)

Aside from the occasional birthday-ruining hurricane, New York really is quite beautiful this time of year.

Central Park, from the first roll I shot with the Hassy.

The lens on my Hassy has a broken shutter leaf (is that the right term?). When the shutter is released, one of the leaves stays in place instead of releasing. I don't know if this will affect the shots but I imagine it must since I assume it will block light from getting into part of the lens. So the Hassy is out of commission while I get Keh.com to to fix it. :(

We accidentally climbed about three mountains when I went to Acadia National Park. The trails all converged and we turned around a few times and got lost a few times and then got so far along that we figured we might as well keep going and before we knew it we had been hiking for three hours. Of course, by the time we finally made it to the top, there were no views to show for it, just dense fog. Insert something here about the journey and the destination.
