This little bird is a familiar species that inhabit the lowland rainforest, frquenting the ground canopy especially where wild bananas and ginger thrive. It has a great partiality for bananas and can be often seen clinging to banana flowers, feeding on the tiny insects on the inflourescence. Often one can see only glimse of it flying in the forest at great speed and at the same time uttering a high pitch sound. It also often enters both rural and urban gardens that are close to the forest fringe or wooded areas.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
