This home was built by Riley for his family in 1890 on the edge of the Smokey Hollow neighborhood, an African-American residential area in Tallahassee. Through the hard work and dedication of many individuals and organizations, the property was restored and is now the John G. Riley House Museum.   &lt;br /&gt;
