As part of a project for my urban studies class, I had the opportunity to spend the last couple of days thinking about/wandering through NYC's Chinatown. I was amazed at how many new places I found and how much I learned about a neighborhood I thought I knew like the back of my hand!

This shot was taken on Doyers Street. It's the most crooked street in Chinatown, but was supposedly intentionally built this way to ward off evil spirits. :)

This is a REALLY old photo of Lucky, I think he's about three or four years old here. He was just about the best mannered dog you could ask for (as long as food wasn't involved!, hehe), and he lived a long and happy life with me and my folks. Definitely my best friend when I was a kid. :)
