A non-HDR shot from a castle-like building opposite the Colmar Tropicale, a French theme resort on top of Bukit Tinggi, Malaysia. This resort is located at 2,700 ft above sea level near the state border of Selangor & Pahang.
Shot with TLChua during my recent photoshoot trip to Kuala Lumpur.

Yes, a French town on top of a mountain at Bukit Tinggi, Pahang, Malaysia as you can see the Malaysian flag at the right side of the entrance. Thanks to TLChua for driving me up 2,700 ft above sea level to this cooling French Theme Resort called 'Colmar Tropicale' on the 3rd day of my KL photoshoot trip. I've read about it in the paper some years back but didn't expect to see it there & then. Really enjoyed the cooling fresh air & the great scenery it offers.

On the 3rd day of my KL trip, my Flickr friend TLChua drove me up to Bukit Tinggi, a resort at the border of Selangor & Pahang in Malaysia. This shot was taken after sunrise at 8am just before we headed further up to a French Theme Resort which I'll be posting soon.

During our photoshoot outing in Chinatown last Saturday, William Cho & I spotted this old man sitting comfortably on his modern office chair enjoying the chess game in progress in front of him. We kept clicking away like nobody's business, yet he didn't cares at all. Thanks old man...

The French town 'Colmar Tropicale' was empty in the morning when TLChua & me reached there. Maybe the crowd does not come so early. Or the Chinese New Year was still not over yet as you can see some red lantern hanging along the street. When I walked along the road & observed, the architecture was totally French. I heard that the hotel rates & food are pricey, maybe that's the reason it was empty.

During my 4th day, also my last day of my KL trip, we wanted to have some last shots of the KLCC but it was raining. Stranded at a mosque nearby, we found that the architecture was somewhat beautiful & rich with lines as well as curves. While waiting, both me & TLChua started to set up our tripod to find angles. We managed to avoid some people who were sleeping on the floor then. The colors in this shot are minimal & I suppose it looks good in B&W too.

Went for an afternoon cityscape photoshoot at the Padang with my Flickr friend TLChua who took me there during my KL trip. Under the hot sun, I felt that this fountain was like an oasis in the desert, only that the water can't be drunk. My original intention was to shoot the building on the left but too bad it was under renovation with netting covered most of the building. In this shot, I've avoided it & composed it as such since we were already there. At least not empty handed & wasted the trip. I've also avoided a worker who was repairing the fountain at that time.

A junction at Jln Bukit Bintang in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Also known as Orchard Road of KL. The whole street was full of tourist especially those from the middle east.
20 over years ago, I used to work here in Sungei Wang Plaza. Going back to this place has brought me to memory lane. I was a young punk that worked in a teppanyaki restaurant as a waiter then. Went to check it out but it's no longer there.
The reason I chose this view was that I could see the pointed KL Tower at the far end, just another memory shot that I can keep for the next 20 year, I hope :-)

A handheld shot taken at the atrium of Suria KLCC shopping mall. The stunning huge spider web shaped ceiling caught my attention straight away when I walked in. I looked around after shooting the ceiling & noticed that the futuristic designed lift shaft was just in front of me so I just moved my camera to place it in the center to form a symmetry. Hence, an interesting shot was created.

Another viewpoint of the link bridge to Riverside Point in Clarke Quay taken from Liang Court. Compared to my previous upload, this is a better choice with not much obstruction from the foreground trees.
