Even when at peace pirates still want to get their own back on each other! When the retired Captain Morris finally completed his massive, incredibly delicate matchstick pyramid, one of his ex-comrades was quick to try and get rid of his rival's success. He tunneled under the captain's house, and then, with a sturdy stick began banging on the captain's house's floorboards.
"Is that an earthquake?!" the captain exclaimed. "That's the last thing I need, especially with this incredibly delicate huge matchstick pyramid at stake! It took me a whole month to make!"

I hastily donned my armour, having burnt George's corpse, and I emerged from the quaint cottage sword in hand. Far off I could hear clashes and screams; perhaps the assassin making his getaway?

I sprinted towards the commotion. Alas, it was not the assassin. A well built man was thrusting a spear towards a pair of orcs. He appeared not to have noticed one about to bring its sword down on him; in totally perfect timing I drove my blade between the orc's shoulders. How convenient for that guy.

With ease the man shoved his glinting spear through the other orc's skull; blood erupted from the ruptured beast's cranium.

"Who are thee, who has such awesome and convenient timing?" The man enquired.

"Um...Donnel. Self-proclaimed assassin slayer. And you?" I replied.

"Sir Fortesque. Self-proclaimed payed by the king orc hunter. Why are you here?" His haggard, gravelly tones made me wince.

"I am here to avenge my family, kill a random assassin, and find a blade of purest steel that can do some speshul thing I don't know about yet but which is vital to the story in general."

"Cool."

More story on Thursday; I'm going on holiday. Feel free to post suggestions about how the storyline is going. The build itself is something larger, but you can sorta make out some ruins..

Also, I know my commentary and English writing skills in general suck, but I'm not trying to write a masterpiece. Also, I know my story is lame in general and quite clichéd, but that's the point.

EDIT: I have gotten extremely/a bit sidetracked so don't expect the net instalment any time soon.
