Bushy Park - Feeding Time!

Captured this Egyptian Gosling with its family in close attendance gobbling up pieces of bread being thrown to them by onlookers despite signs nearby advising visitors against doing this for any number of pertinent reasons.

One place I visited had signs saying that if visitors wanted to feed waterfowl, use wholemeal bread rather than white bread as if to recognise that people will never stop trying to feed them.

This shot was taken by the Heron Pond in Bushy Park.

Snapped these Egyptian Geese having just avoided an unleashed dog chasing them into the water. The mother although still wary clearly felt the danger had passed and it was safe for her and the goslings to come onto dry land by the pond in Richmond Park.
