Here's a close up of a piece I did for Eyra's current exhibition, "Long Form." It's an online exhibition that features illustrations unusually long or unusually tall. Featuring the work of Ana Benaroya, Andrea Rossi, Jessi Noonan, John Chae, Rand Renfrow, Seo Kim, Wai Wai Pang, and myself. It's on display through June 27th.

What more could you ask for? Well, yeah… I guess you could ask for more things in shirts and pants, but still – wouldn’t this look great in your executive office? You don’t have an executive office? Well, you could’ve fooled me!

Ink Wash on Paper, 2013

My hair has been going through one of those weird transitions where it never looks right. On Tuesday, it finally reached the point where I can style it so that I look like a sleazy politician, or a boyish man-child. Very exciting news for me!

I've been sending emails to friends I haven't talked to in a while, and to people that I admire. I don't know why it's so hard to do now. It used to be really easy.

I'm also thinking about getting a webcam so that I can draw and paint online, maybe teach some weird courses, maybe sell my work as it's being made. Bad idea? Any thoughts?

This one reminds me of girls I liked who would give me mixtapes, which would make me even more intimidated by these girls because they had good taste in music and I knew nothing about music, and then I'd ask them if they'd go to see Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow with me, and I wouldn't know how to deal with the fact that they didn't say "no," and then wouldn't know how to deal with the fact that they didn't say "yes" when I asked them to Winter Ball.

Oh, and it has the version of New Order's "Ceremony" that I like a lot! Give it a listen, you'll like it!
