Its over there just between me and huceyn you can see the blue colours, its the shadow of clouds on the lake

President Mohamed Nasheed today visited Fuvahmulah and met with senior civil servants, business people, non government organizations and governing boards of schools in Fuvahmulah.
Meeting with senior civil servants, the President discussed with them on the administrative changes that would follow as a result of the introduction of decentralized governance and island and atoll councils.
Discussions at the President’s meeting with governing boards of schools in Fuvahmulah were generally focused on measures that were required to improve the standard of education in the schools.
The President said the government prioritized empowerment of school boards as well as island and atoll councils to improve the quality of education in schools.
During the meeting business people and non government organizations in Fuvahmulah, the President enquired about the challenges they faced in developing their business and community activities.
At the meeting, the President said commencement of Fuvahmulah airport operations would ease dollar shortages and enable quicker transportation of agricultural produce of Fuvahmulah farmers.
Addressing NGOs, the President highlighted the importance of carrying out their own fund raising activities rather than depending solely on government funding.
However, the President said a sum of money was earmarked to assist the civil society and NGOs, in addition to the assistance provided by UNDP to civil society organizations.
During the visit the President also visited Fuvahmulah Atoll Hospital and met with the hospital management and senior officials of Southern Health Services Corporation. He also visited some patients admitted in the hospital.
Before concluding his visit to Fuvahmulah, President Nasheed met with the members elected to Fuvahmulah Atoll Council and island councils.
The President has returned to Male’ this evening after concluding his tour of Addu City and Fuvahmulah
