Feathered beach

This is my favourite image from my Harris trip - maybe!

It's a variation (different exposure, a few minutes apart - this one's 300 seconds) from an earlier shot, with the water higher up the beach and a feathered effect on the sand which I rather liked. It captures the serenity of Harris comprehensively, for me....

This rock looked to me very much like a hand pointing at the mountains of North Harris, from South Harris!

This is a view out from the rock which was just off-shore in earlier photos, once the tide had gone out ('Charcoal beach' and 'Feathered beach').

This is the central part of the Callanish stone circle, on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, taken a little while after sunset. What a fantastic place, though difficult, at least for me, to do it justice in a photograph.
