While waiting in line for tickets to Brand New, we met a girl who'd just moved to Portland from Philadelphia. She had a notebook with her that she's dubbed the "Happy Book" where she has people (oftentimes strangers) write 1) their name, 2) where they're from, and 3) what makes them happy. She asked a friend and I to write in it, and in return she let me take a picture and wrote me my own happy post-it!

Someone had recently asked me to show them parts of my bedroom, and I'm finally getting around to it. Come November I'll be moving into a new place, so it seemed like a good idea to take pictures for myself as well--as sort of a documentation of how things were and what was once home.
