One Beautiful Moment in Vientiane

One beautfiul moment I fell into
Biking whole day long, walking further in street of Vientiene in the evening, sticky body in the heat and humid air of dried rainy season. It was dusty by land-filled bank erosion on construction, noise of cars, motorcycles and sounds of people, I waas looking back and seeing this scene... brances of dries tree, beautfiul blue sky, the red light on green house, runnning and before I clicked, jsut felt a moving behind, I waited until the move was going to the eyes..
Then just Click
for a few seconds I fell into another world ... and hear no other sound at all. Glad that everytime I feel like this, I could capture photo like this too.

Since I have got new cameta NikonD5000 and Nikkorr 18-200 mm, I take thousands of sbhots during travelling but this is the first shot I post in Flickr.. after nearly a year ...
Humm wonderful how I manage things and time

I feel this photo look much like done by HDR, but it is not.

One evening, I walked along the street connecting Bangkok and Nonthaburi, citylife was repearted day by day every evening, people were back home and congested together on street.

Sun was setting behind bathing and tinted the street and cars with beautiful pinky orange colors, The air was cooler from the day heat and the gentle wind blew thorugh my face. All of these made me feel pleasant moment and I stopped walkibng to capture the moment.. it's terrible poetry of city life..
Wonder people in the car could see and feel this or not... Just lucky to walk not drive..

It was lovely sunny day .. but with lovely temperature.. Sweden Suummer
We stopped somewhere on the south of Stockholm.. to view the city hall from the south island, another side of Baltic sea...
As I walked on slope walkway...The bulng color is lovely and the the blue sky.. but it was just building.. so I didn't take a shot.. but when I walked further and turned back ... at this location on the top slope, the statue column and the building.. all composed together and I love it

Behind the scene :
It was a long drive... after sleeping in the bus I was full of charge till I could not sit still, I walked around the bus, talking with everybody in the bus... as we are all friendsi n same training course.
But a very liitle scene on the window of the bus stop me still... No matter the world around is, two lovers were on their own moment... The window screen was moving along with the bus.. till few second the red spot of the truck on other lane passed by...
Judt a second with a click....

For a moment, we could feel special,
A moment that light seemed awakening the liitle old Viking to be alive..

For a moment that all thing came and blended together... awakening the legend

I was standing there when the afternoon light bathed the little Vikings on the window dispaly of old town "Gamla Stan", Stockholm, blended with the reflection of old building from opposite side..
Then the window dispaly and shelf was gone away... remaining at that moment the feeling that the legend became alive... It looked real at the moment and I'm glad to capture that moment to feel that special moment again...

Biking in the Rain

When we look deeply through the stream of rainfall... What we see is the hundreds of white dash lines, all other things are faded away in black colors ... the heat of road surface contacts with the cold rainfall, it gives the little foggy ground.. The afternoon light enhances to this view... All of this need to use particular exposure... It was lucky I could use this exposure within time with this biking..in frame.. Normally I take colorful photos but I am pleased to take this mood of almost black and white sometimes.

A woman biked by in much in hurry... How poetic I love the moment....

It was one of my most afternoon delight in Sweden

(added) For people who may wonder how I say I use particular xposure while I use P (program) mode not M (manual) mode.. It's because I want to capture the mood fast enough so I dont use M.. it take much time... I play some tricks by using "P mode" but use spot area exposure... so it could measure the light in particualr point... faster than M mode and also if I measure the spot light somewhere not in center / focus point I measure the light to that point but I use exposure lock (either AE lock or half pressed shutter lock depending on camera).. This way is the way the light measuring is very precise and get strong color... Normally I often play with composition and feeling of photos .. .. Sorry for the one who known well... I use manual mode very occasionally... in case the techniques above could not serve me... I know how to operate manual as I used to use full manual camera.. but I saw disadvantage I could not capture the feeling and story fast enough, something happens just few seconds ..So I use P mode with understanding of M Mode so that I could have time to contribute to capture the emotional atmpospheric scenes.. ... Even I now have real DSLR Nikon D5000 with 18-200 Nikkor lens.. I still continue to use P mode for sure.. to save time from 6 settings i.e: speed, f-stop, focus, tele/zoom, composition, moods to only 4 settings focus, tele/zoom, composition, moods..

This is the the photo I like the most from shots taken in Sweden. It was short moment of happiness, a little silent moment among all chaos of city, traffice and heavy rain.

It was suddenly raining in the late afternoon...People ran under the shelter... but I saw this poetic moment, so much love this scene that I was standing under the tree to see and record this moment..
I Intended to capture the curtainof rainfall, therefore the world turn to be black and white at the moment...

A little happiness.. one fine day...
Before capturing this atmosphere, also love the beautfiul light of twilight... Two beautiful atmosphere within one afternoon...
I walked with two friends from Mynmar and Indonesia... They and other people may try to espcape the rain .. they didn't see what I saw

{Long time No post, I almost forget how to post in Flickr... Its now a good moment I feel ... Nice feeling to be back to Flickr again. By the way, to answer to the question of contacts .. how I am during my silence.. I am fine, just busy with works and new things in life both good and bad but I am still happy.. I do travel a lot this year till I have no time to load and organize those photos to computer.. At the head of Mun river, there situated the lovely community called "Phimai" where as the historical "Prasat Hin Phimai" lies together with wonderful and holy nature called "Sai Ngam ไทรงาม along Mun river bank. .
15,000 sq.ft area is shaded by forest of Banyan trees which grows out from one main Banyan tree, 350 years old. As the braches grow wide in horizontal, air roots go down deep to be another Banyan tree and then the area has special and holy ambience.

I walked from the bright and strong sunny day at noon into the little forest and felt ther sudden change of ambience. It was as if I walked into another world.
Seeing through the curtain of trees and branches, it was a water canvas of colorful surface reflected by blue sky and green new life of water plants.

At least it was great if we could feel the sudden change that please and sooth the mind to be drawn for a while in the little beautiful and holy world.

{One reason I didn't post photo much lately because I feel ashamed to post and recieve comments without visiting others. My life has many new things and I have to respond to them and this is not routine or settled down life. and I am so exhausted by accumulated insufficient sleep Again thank you indeed for contact has regular vists my photstream I think I will have more time after mid March or April 2009}

The mother of the little forest of Banyan trees stands so tall and so wide full of colorful flowery worship. This was beyond my camera ability to record the whole width of the tree.

The place is a real sanctury to rest our mind.

Once.. we often drive during weekend to the irrigated paddy field around our house with Sanshiro. It's beautfiul time to drive along small road, with green field, listen to music, and Sanshiro enjoyed music and snack with us..

Charm of Red fall

It was a sudden heavy rainfall, soon after rainfall begin, red soil of laterite road nearby was eroded and flushed into the small stream and water fall called "tad Mun" which is about 20 km northeast of Vientiane, the capital of Laos PDR.
It was sunny rainfall.. So it was indeed simple and pleasant weekend, I spent with some friends during my mission to be trained in using some sophisticated math models.

How pleasant to sit in the bamboo hut and watch this red stream. Not good in environment though but it's real life.

The photo is not good in photogrpahy ternm but it flows my happy time at that moment.. Share it with me : D

I walked, in the late afternoon with light mind , to little Buddhist hall with friends after practising meditation in Meditation training and saw this little guy running around green field.

I stopped and looked at him, so did he. We had eye contact for many minutes. He didn't run further but looked at me curiously.. I talked to him and he tried to listen and understand by waving his ears, swing his head and looked at me.

I talked everything I want to. No matter to dogs, cats or trees.

Telling my friends, some dogs' life is too happy, not hectic. Look atr him. see what? I see innocence, love, joy, enthusiasm, energy, happiness .. all positive

Summer of Sweden is just like winter of Thialand, I love the tremperature..
Every time I walked by the street musician, I could not help stopping to listen to music for a while...
I could stay there longer and sit in the outdoor cafe to listen to beautfiul music in the cold air.. My happy time

Blown Away

I felt like "Alice in the Wonderland" in the moment even tohugh I walked with two Friends; Mouintie from Indonesia and TinMoe from Mynmar and among people walking and traffic jammed cars..

I enjoyed the ourdoor photo exibition of beautfiul national parks of Sweden, I then turned around then I saw this lost world moment..

At this location, it was like another world, another hiiden dimension as if they were set up... the inclined traffic sign post, the crowded clouds, the odor of air before raining blended with the sea breeze, the rather cold wind, the old building behind, the red and white cars and one man rushed by..

All in this scene freezed me for a while... I felt somthing ... I was appreciated and embraced this feeling before I captured it into photograph

It's wonderful for me to feel the moment of being "Aice" again and again seeing this scene..

It now amazes me to realiae that I felt this moment and captured this scene during talking with the Swedish man who greeted foreigner in his homeland.. and my two friends sat far away chatting and waiting for me...

I just jumped in and out out few seconds several times to feel the moment, take photo and be back to conversation..

Well Its' simple scene but I feel in too much imaginary world : D
