The Skagen light house was build in 1858 and is still in service.
It is 46m high and the second highest in Denmark.

Build in the late 1300's. Close by sand in 1795. Today only the tower is remaining.

Just returned from a short trip to Bangalore, India.

Did not had much time to go photographing so I only managed a few snapshots from the trip with my G15 "pocket" camera. This is the great view from the plane somewhere over Germany I guess.

My first playing around with my new ND1000 (10stop) filter for long exposure pictures.
Guess I need to clean the sensor before the next try :-)
Just forgot how much dirt is visible at f/22

This is the lighthouse at Hirtshals in a 2min exposure. Next time I will go in the blue hour when there are light in the tower.

Only windmills, yes
but these were the backgound for the Jean Michel Jarre concert "AERO" which was held Sept 7th 2002 on the bare field in the middle of no-where.
Never forget this concert. It rained the whole day and through the whole concert.

The white bright building at the left is the Utzon Center. The last building designed by the famous architect Jørn Utzon who also designed the opera house in Sidney.
Jørn Utzon was born in Copenhagen but lived his first 19 years in Aalborg.
