Riding on Hatteras Island, I shot this with the left hand and pointed to the approaching sunset. Speed approx 60 mph, I mean 55 :)

The final leg, line up sequence. You can see the Washington Monument in the far right. A buddy of mine flys into this airport and says this approach is a challenge. I believe it!

Too much decoration? The Vasa looks a little top heavy, a ship that set sail in 1628, but didn't get far before it rolled over and sank. The woodworking and ornamentation is fantastic though. Was surprised this shot came out OK, was handheld with a slow shutter.

Was actually working on a series of graphics for a CD cover many years ago. Found the files recently and thought it'd be fun to do some more while I've got a little time off. This one combines a black & white film photo, the tree is a recent digital photo, watercolor and pen scribbling from the old files.

The CD was going to contain songs by several artists, I had an ambient peice included, here's the mp3. (it's a large file, 3.3 mb)

After joining Flickr a few months back, I saw a lot of moon shots and that got me inspired to take one. I pulled out my old Canon 85-300 FL and got an adapter for my XTi. Here's the moon last night peeking through the clouds.

Water flows were perfect today, the sunlight trying to get through to the river barely made it. This part of the Rapidan is in the Shenandoah National Park.

Water level was up today on the Potomac River, not really a flood but the higher level covered some places I normally hike. Water looks calm here, but is really flowing.

It's nice to post another photo again, have been offline healing my knee with a lot of exercising and then hiking on it, finally! First hike was to the Park and the Hazel River Trail. Here are some nice waterflalls along the Hazel River. Took a roll of 35mm film in a camera designed for 120 film. Small light leaks and all.
