All finished but the eternal weaving-in of yarn-butts. This is based off Lucy's Attic24 "Big Blanket" using Summer Garden Granny Squares. I just loved this blanket - made it in just over a month, working full-time with 2 kids. It's a bunch of 4s - four rounds for each square, four squares in each motif, four rounds around each group of four, 4x4 placement overall, with four finishing rounds! :-) I'm not into numerology, it just worked out this way.

Just working on this during my lunch hours, having a lot of fun playing with the colors at random. A very enjoyable and easy pattern, perfect for using up stash! (Which is great because a new box of yarn JUST arrived at work today.) :-)

...into joined squares. Sorry, uploaded this to Flickr via the iPhone last night and didn't get a chance to write a description yet! This is going to be about a bedspread-sized afghan, as it turns out, but I'm okay with that. :-) Once again, I just loooove joining the squares together as I go. I used to love seeing little piles of squares all done, ready to lay out and seam together. But now I love laying out my plan in advance and then just DOING it. The only drawback is, as someone else pointed out on the Circles pic, all the many millions of yarn ends to weave in. I still haven't finished doing that on my last afghan!

Thanks for the kind words so far. :-) And yes, Manclass, I do tend to move along quickly when the motivation strikes! Since that isn't too often, I have to capitalize on the momentum while it's there. I have far too many forlorn, unfinished projects just lying around, wistfully awaiting the return of my interest...
