One of my favorite Japanese-Italian restaurants in Tokyo is in Harajuku. I love this places because they always have really good deserts. They didn't have the one I would eat 2 years ago, instead they had a new one on the list: almond flavored tofu, sweetened black beans, green tea ice cream, and a little buttery cookie on top. God, I couldn't get enough!

One of my favorite Japanese-Italian restaurants in Tokyo is in Harajuku. I got a Japanese style dish that had soy sauce instead of tomato sauce. It had a soft boiled egg, bacon, and mushrooms. It was really quite good!

I met up with my old friend Shizuka in Harajuku for some yummy Italian food. This is the place that Pierre and I always used to eat at. So it was a lot of fun to go back and have more Japanese-Italian food.

Just outside of the Harajuku station I saw a very fashion forward (don't believe me, look at the bag!) guy waiting outside, smoking. I wanted to capture what the fashion at the moment looks like: Tight pants, pointy shoes, funny hat, and rainbow man-purse. <3

Sarah and I were having a lunch date with our friend Shizuka. We arrived early, so we did some people watching. I got a picture of this guy that I really liked because of the lighting and the fashion. It was a special Tokyo moment.

Walking around on Omotesando and around Harajuku, Sarah and I saw a bunch of these lanterns up for a holiday or festival (I'm not sure which) and construction workers were taking them all down. I was quite a ways away from this worker, but I think he saw me taking his picture!

Sarah and I went to Harajuku to catch up with another old friend of ours. While waiting for our friend, Shizuka, we roamed around the station and Yoyogi Koen (park) and took some shots of the young people milling about.

On the little landing near the Harajuku station there came walking a mother and daughter dressed in beautiful kimonos. They suddenly got the idea to stop and take a picture on the landing right in front of me. I could resist to get a picture! Sarah and I had a laugh because the little girl shouted at her mom in a little princess voice in Japanese: "QUICKLY!" and then proceeded to put on a little angel of a smile with the peace finger pose. Now that's acting!
