North Sea Fury

TheNorthLight.co.uk (davidlangan) posted a photo:

The massive rolling waves coming in off the North Sea pounded Aberdeen Harbour's southern breakwater for hours during high tide. Getting as near as I dared to the crashing waves I fired off lots off different shots as the waves crashed onto the sea defence. This shot was taken right as I was thinking about leaving a wave much bigger than any previously hurtled at the sea defence and was sent 50 or 60 feet skyward - so high i did not get all the wave in the shot. I chose this specifis image as it also had the fortune of having waves crashing on the foreground rocks too.
