A shot from the weekend, sometime it looked like the light would get good but it never quite got there... Most of the time it was a just a bit of a fug, possibly due to a combination of a high pressure weather system a sea haar and haze from the numerous hill fires in Scotland at this time of year.

I've tried a few times to get this. Still more to do....

A few people have asked... This is a one shot exposure, no digital blending no HDR, just a bit of work with levels and curves. I used lee filters, 0.9 hard grad, 0.9 soft grad with no CPL.

Thanks to everybody at the Celbridge Camera Club and Tallaght Photo Society in Ireland for there hospitality over the last few days. I really enjoyed my time out there, I hope you enjoyed my talks.

I spotted this as a possible shot while flying into Dublin airport. I didn’t realise it was quite so far from town. Thanks again to Scott for driving me out there to get this, especially after cooking such a fantastic dinner.
