today he missed his brother. today he asked at least eighteen questions i couldn't answer. today he amazed me half a dozen times. today he infuriated me (more than once), and he made me laugh so hard i spit food out of my mouth. today. motherhood.

he's been obsessed with screens lately. it crept up on us and before we knew it he was completely unable to play by himself. i'm frustrated and angry at myself for letting it happen. and really sad for him. we can't seem to make cold-turkey work, so we're weaning. it's been a tough week.
