&lt;p&gt;Second World War flight commander Keith Quilter, from Kent, visited the Imperial War Museum Duxford in Cambridgeshire to not only celebrate his 90th birthday, but also the news that through the Big Lottery Fund’s (BLF) Heroes Return 2 programme, he has been awarded £3,700 to make a commemorative visit to Japan in May.&lt;br /&gt;
 &lt;br /&gt;
Keith, the 50th successful applicant of the BLF Heroes Return 2 programme to visit Japan, will to visit the grave of his best friend and cabin mate, Walter Stradwick, from aircraft carrier HMS Formidable, who was killed, aged 22, on 18 July 1945. &lt;br /&gt;
