They seem to be interested in everything and afraid of very little. You can even get them to jump back and forth between your hands if you want to. It's always difficult getting a photograph of almost any jumping spider that's continually attempting to jump at the lens.

2012-168 - Spring-Loaded Greenery. There were a lot of newly emerged green leafhoppers (it's too early to tell exactly which species yet) last night. Just barely out of the nymph stage, they're still getting used to having wings and the ability to fly IF their hind legs won't launch them to where ever they want to be.

2012-161 - Antennae Adjustments - I was finally able to capture this little long horned beetle with its antennae in one place and not constantly in motion. I have yet to identify the exact species of this little guy.

2012-160 - Scourge Of The Waterfront - Though they may be referred to as Fishflies or Mayflies, they usually appear in early June and make a real mess when they die off en masse within a few days of hatching and leave a greasy, slippery mess on every walkway. Fortunately I live a couple of km from the waterfront and other than a few of them appearing at my porch light, they aren't a big problem here.
