A View From Arlington Bridge

The Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, and if you look close you can see the Capital dome. Taken from the Arlington Bridge. Because it was a night shot I left the shutter open for 13 seconds, and like how the red streak of the car lights turned out, as well as the bright street lights.

This photograph of the Washington Monument was taken from the Lincoln Memorial. I added an overlay to make the photo look aged. It was freezing cold this night, at about 11 PM, so there were not many other people crazy enough to be out!

This is a section of the Little Pigeon River. I took this shot while driving through the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. We stopped at a bridge and while walking back to the car I saw this view and had to jump down and take a few tripod shots. Unfortunately
on my way back up the bank I stirred up a few bees and got stung 5 times!

Three years ago we visited the WWII Memorial in DC on Memorial Day. Several soldiers had setup a memorial to one of their fallen comrades. Thanks to all our soldiers, airmen, seamen for what they do 365 days a year, past and present.
