Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre is a tower located in the Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. Macau used to be a Portuguese colony until 1999. The tower measures 338 m (1,109 ft) in height from ground level to the highest point. It offers the best view of Macau and in recent years has been used for a variety of adventurous activities. At 233 meters, the Macau Tower's tethered "skyjump" and Bungee jump by AJ Hackett from the tower's outer rim, is the second highest commercial skyjump in the world, after Vegas' Stratosphere skyjump at 260 meters.

The Hong Kong Island skyline is one of the most spectacular cityscapes in the world. New York may boast more skyscrapers but Hong Kong's are more compact and dramatic when viewed from from across the water in Kowloon, over Victoria Harbour. Every night at 8pm there is light show called 'Symphony of light' which is free to the public. The best viewing locations are along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront between the Avenue of Stars and the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, the promenade at Golden Bauhinia Square in Wanchai, and from sightseeing ferries in the Victoria Harbour.

Medicine Lake

In summer Medicine lake looks like any other lakes in Jasper National park. But by October, the lake vanishes, replaced until spring by a shallow stream winding sluggishly across mudflats to a few small pools.
Indians believed that the disappearance of the lake was by "big medicine" or magic and they feared it.
