A family bathing in the holy lake at the large Sikh temple in Delhi.

I love the difference in how the son is being dealt with by his dad, and the tenderness of the mother with her daughter.

India: At the large Sikh temple in Delhi 'Gurudwara Bangla Sahib' I saw this father holding his baby praying in the holy lake. He dunked himself and his baby 5 times. Inviting me into the lake with him, I held his child and he proudly posed with his children.

Walking around a holy lake by a large Sikh temple (bokeh'd in the background) in Delhi this proud father of three called me over and asked me to take photos of him and his family bathing the lake waters. I hope he was not too dissapointed when he tried to look at the back of my SLR to realise that its not a digital camera. Incredible India

Walking around the holy lake of 'Bangla Sahib', the largest Sikh temple in Delhi, I took this photo. My bare feet were baking in the 45degree heat and standing in the cool water of the lake was quite a reflief. I saw this man sitting in the cool water, praying and meditating.
