The more I see my mother

spokanitis posted a photo:

The older I get, the more I look like my mother.

(This photo is from a series of test shots I did at Gonzaga in my studio with pricey, fancy backdrops. I have now backdrops in black, blue, red, pink, and green. They cost .99 cents each at Rousauars; just simple construction paper. The light behind me and to my side is from a desk lamp, the kind with an arm that can be swiveled in several directions. The only other light was from a window above/left and a flash I bounced off the ceiling. Simple. Cheap. Quick.)

The camera is on a tripod. I used the Nikon D3 with the 24-70 2.8 (I think!) lens. Remote was used to take the photo. No crop, Just playing around with an idea the Editor and the Director of Creative Services had in mind for an upcoming publication. The other colors of backdrops turned out fantastic, I posted this one on black only because it is the best one of my face; least amount of smile lines.
(Yes- I am that vain.)
