The sand on the beaches in Chicago may be some of the softest sand I can recall walking on. It truly surprised me. If I'd been wearing my swimsuit then I would have joined all of these folks in a lovely night swim as well.

One of Joe's cousins, Jessica, finally got hitched to her man down in Corpus at the end of July. And, of course, here comes the bride - Jess and her mom & dad walk her down the stairs and down the aisle.

We had a lot of fun at the wedding, and since they had official photographers hired on their own, I just decided to stick to the Nifty Fifty and see what I could get while still enjoying the event and the company around us.
